Body Wisdom with Lehua Altemus and Karla Kuester

Join Lehua and Karla has they take you on a journey, with music and guidance, to teach you how to use your breath to quiet mental chatter and ease anxiety.
Lehua Altemus has been working with movement since the 1970s and has studied Movement Expression and Dance Alive (founded by Mariane Karou), Sound Movement Integration (founded by Sahn Kai), Authentic Movement (founded by Paula Perlman), Five Rhythms (founded by Gabriel Roth) and Medicine Dance (founded by Fred Sugerman). She is a current member of the Non-Performance Workshop Dance Company, directed by Fred Sugerman. Lehua is a 10-year breast cancer thriver.
Karla Kuester has been a student of Dance Alive, BodyFreedom™ Movement (founded by Tarnie Fulloon, P.T.) and Medicine Dance as a weekly practice since 2000. She is also current member of the Non-Performance Workshop Dance Company.
