Cancer Support Community Los Angeles (CSCLA) has expanded!
We are thrilled to announce that we now serve the Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley region. Operating under the same 501(c)3 as CSCLA, Cancer Support Community Palm Springs & Coachella Valley’s (CSCPSCV) mission is the same: to uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.
CSCPSCV provides the same free social and emotional support programs and services to persons living with cancer – all ages, all diagnoses, and at all stages – and their loved ones.
Free Virtual Programs and Services:
- Support Groups & Counseling– Diagnosis-specific, Community-specific (LGBTQ+, People of Color & more)
- Healthy Lifestyle Classes – Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, Writing, Art & more
- Educational Webinars & Workshops – Nutrition during treatment, Caregiving, Insurance, Sexual Function, & more
- Social Events – Game Night, Trivia, Comedy Night & more
- Child, Teen & Family Programs – Counseling, connecting with other families affected by cancer
- Spanish-speaking Programming – Support Groups, Counseling, Educational Workshops, & more
Free In-Person Programs:
Living with Cancer Support Group – The Joslyn Center
This group is for people currently in treatment with any type or stage of cancer.
2nd & 4th Friday every month 1:00-2:00pm

This group is for Spanish speaking cancer patients and caregivers.

Lilianna Davalos, a proud Coachella Valley native, is CSCLA’s Expansion Program Manager serving Palm Springs and Coachella Valley. She brings expertise in community engagement, brand development, event planning, partnership cultivation, and bilingual communication (English/Spanish) to her role. Lilianna is passionate about connecting people with impactful programs and looks forward to supporting CSCLA’s mission as it grows in the desert region.
